Beijing Zoo is home to around 450 different species and has  more than 5,000 animals. Some of the most popular animals such as the giant pandas, golden monkeys and northeast tigers. You also can find the polar bears, American bison, zebras, kangaroos, giraffes elephants etc.

Beijing Zoo have 16 different exhibition halls. The most popular is the Panda Garden.

Beijing Aquarium opened in 1999, it is the largest inland aquarium in the world. The aquarium features thousands of different aquatic species – man-eating fishes, precious Chinese sturgeons, huge sea elephants and fierce sharks are some of the highlights. Tourists can also enjoy shows performed by dolphins, sea lions and whales in the aquarium’s Ocean Theater.
