Pu erh Tea

Pu erh tea, also known as Pu’er tea, is a type of Chinese dark tea crafted from the leaves and stems of the Camellia plant. This tea variety is distinguished by its two main types: raw or unfermented Pu erh tea, and ripe or fermented Pu erh tea. Additionally, Pu erh tea can be categorized into loose tea and compressed tea based on its appearance.

Originating from Yunnan Province in southwest China, Pu erh tea is renowned for its unique and long-lasting fragrance, robust and mellow flavor, and vibrant orange soup. Pu erh leaves can be steeped multiple times, offering a prolonged brewing experience. Aged Pu erh tea is often prized for its superior taste profile.

Several esteemed brands produce high-quality Pu erh tea, including Dayi, Chensheng, Fujin, Lancang, Douji, and Baohexiang. These brands are recognized for their commitment to excellence in Pu erh tea production.
