Day 1: Tianjin International Cruise Port – Temple of heaven – Tian’anmen Square, The Forbidden city (L)
Upon your arrival at Tianjin International Cruise Port, your English speaking guide and driver pick you up with a private vehicle and transfer you to Beijing. During the 2.5-hour ride, your guide will share with you you the unique characteristics of the city and local culture.
When you are in Beijing, visit the world famous Temple of Heaven (Tian tan). The Temple of Heaven (Tian tan) is regarded as the most holy imperial temple in Beijing, a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture and a representative of numerous sacrificial buildings in China. After the temple visit, you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will visit The Forbidden City (Imperial Palace) and Tian’anmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beijing is dominated by this huge Imperial Palace which was completed in 1420. Since the palace was off limits to most people for over 500 years, it is also often called the Forbidden City. At one end of the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace) lies Tian’anmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), the world’s largest public square.

Day 2: Great Wall at Mutianyu – Summer Palace – Chinese Acrobatic show (VIP Tickets) (L)
Your guide and driver pick you up at 8:30am from your Beijing hotel lobby. Today you will the Great Wall of China – Mutianyu Section, by included round-trip cable car ride. You can decide how long and how far you would like to hike here.
Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant with village style Chinese food. After lunch, continue on to the Summer Palace which is one of the finest examples garden architecture in China. There are 100 unique examples of traditional architecture in the park including pavilions, terraces, temples, pagodas, waterside gazebos, covered corridors, stone bridges, and the famous marble boat. The palace occupies a total area of 290 hectares. Of which, three quarters are filled with shallow lakes. On the way back to city from the Summer Palace (Yiheyuam) , you will drive pass by the Olympic park to get a glimpse of amazing modern stadiums built for 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.
Your tour will end with a transfer back to your hotel in Beijing.Or Beijing International Airport.
