3-Day Xiamen Private Tour
Day 1 Arrival in Xiamen
After touching down at the Xiamen Airport, you will be greeted by our guide outside the customs and then be escorted to the hotel by a comfortable drive. If time permits, our guide will accompany you to visit Zhongshan Road – a historical pedestrian street brimming with arcaded buildings, and a traditional fish market.

Day 2 Xiamen
Today, we will have a morning tour to the coastal Gulangyu Island. Firstly, our guide will accompany you to wander around the Shuzhuang Garden by the sea to enjoy buildings that combine perfectly local features and western architectural styles. You will also be able to see the best seascape from there. Inside the garden there is the Piano Museum exhibiting over 70 ancient pianos, including the world’s oldest square piano, rare gold-plated piano, and the world’s oldest and largest upright piano. Then you will be led to the Hi Heaven Villa to enjoy a traditional puppet show as well as a Nanguan music performance.
After the Gulangyu visit, you will be transferred back to downtown area to tour around the Huihe Stone Cultural Park where you can appreciate many astounding stone sculptures in various sizes and themes, especially Buddhist sculptures. A distinctive dance show performed by girls from Hui’an County can also be enjoyed there. Our guide and driver will deliver you to the hotel after today’s Xiamen tour itinerary ends.

Day 3 Departure from Xiamen
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the Jimei Study Village which is a large-scale college town established by Tan Kah Kee (1874 – 1961), a renowned educator, philanthropist, and the leader of overseas Chinese at that time. Buildings inside are of a typical local architectural style combined with western features with glazed roofs, carved beams and pillars, upward cornices and arches. Then you will be led to the Tan Kah Kee Memorial Hall to learn about Tan’s life. The next destination is the Turtle Park, which is the mausoleum of Mr. Tan Kah Kee. A large number of stone carvings and reliefs there will also astonish you.
Then, we will head for the South Putuo Temple, the most prosperous temple in Xiamen that was founded during the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907). After this visit, we will continue our private Xiamen city tour to the Hulishan Battery with its collection of old cannons. Then we will enjoy the wonderful landscape of the Island Ring Road. This 1-day Xiamen tour package will conclude with a leisure walk around a cultural block, Zengcuo’an Village. The itinerary usually ends at around 17:00. Our guide and driver will deliver you to the airport and see you off.
