4-Day Kashgar and Tashkorgan Private Tour with Accommodation
This 4-day private tour offers everybody an opportunity to experience the most attractive historical sites in Kashgar: Id Kah Mosque, Apak Hoja Tomb, the Kashgar Old Town and the Grand Bazaar. Hiking outdoors to one of the world’s top 20 natural wonders–Shipton’s Arch. Drive along the China-Pakistan Pakistan Karakorum Highway on the Pamir plateau to Tashkorgan and visit Stone Fort, Tajik village, hike on the Grassland, and visit a local Kyrgyz family. This private tour give you a possibility not only to enjoy the charm of the Kashgar city, the natural beauty of the Kashgar surrounding area, but also to get to know better the life of the local people and their unique culture. Day 1: Discover the charms of the Kashgar City
Kashgar
Your English speaking guide will pick you up at 10:00am in your Kashgar hotel’s lobby.(Accommodation arranged by yourself, pick up location can be at the Kashgar Railway Station or Airport). Your tour will begin with a visit of Kashgar Old Town, followed by your guide, you will explore this 2000-year-old ancient city which full of customs, stories and homes.
Id Kah Mosque
Then continue to the Id Kah Mosque which is typical of Uygur Islamic architecture.
Abakh Hoja Tomb
After lunch in the local restaurant, you will explore the famous Apakh Hoja Tomb which is the holiest place in Xinjiang for the Muslims, and an architectural treasure. Finally you will visit the Kashgar Grand Bazaar.Your tour will end with a drop off in your per-arranged accommodation in Kashgar.(inclusive)
Day 2: Kashgar – Karakul Lake – Tashkorgan
Karakul Lake After breakfast in your hotel, you will heading directly to the Karakul lake. It will take about four hours. You will heading to the Karakul Lake via China-Pakistan Karakorum Highway. On the way you will pass through some small villages, the stunning scenery along the way almost completely unspoiled. Once arrive at the Karakul Lake you will have enough time to enjoy the beauty of the lake and mountainside. Your lunch will be hold in local Kirghiz yurt.Arrive Tashkorgan in the late afternoon and stay overnight in the per-arranged accommodation (inclusive).
Day 3: Tashkorgan – Kashgar
Tashkurgan After breakfast in your hotel, you will heading directly to visit the Stone Fort and visit Tajik village. Because of Tashkorgan’s strategic importance, it was once an important hub on the old Silk Road. Here you will not only enjoy the nature beauty of the area, but also to get to know better the life of the local Tajik people and their unique culture! After lunch, drive back to Kashgar, your tour will end with a drop off in your per-arranged accommodation in Kashgar.(inclusive)
Day 4:Kashgar -Shiption’s Arch -Kashgar
Shipton’s Arch After breakfast in your hotel, you will heading directly to the Shiptons Arch.It will take about three hours.Shipton’s Arch is the earth’s tallest natural arch, standing at an impressive 1,500 feet(460 meters).Arch.The hike through the alluvial basins slicing the canyons, it twisted and turned. After 1-2 hours hike, you will be there. You will have your picnic lunch here. Relax during your comfortable journey back to your per-arranged accommodation in Kashgar.(inclusive) If your travel date happened to be Sunday, you will also visit the Kashgar Livestock Market
