Your first stop is the Badaling Great Wall of China(please note during the peak season Badaling is too crowded, we will change to the Mutianyu section where we can get you vip pass to skip the long shuttle bus line). Great Wall is an iconic landmark illustrating the innovation of ancient Chinese engineering. Badaling is one of the best-preserved parts of the structure. Upon arrival, take the convenient cable car to reach the wall, listen as your guide provides an engaging narrative about the attraction’s history. Hike up and down with your tour guide and absorb panoramic vistas of the surrounding scenery.
After lunch in the local restaurant, head to the sacred Ming tombs to discover the burial grounds of ancient Ming emperors. Marvel at three of the excavated tombs and hear of the extravagant lives led by the mausoleum’s inhabitant.
Listed in World Cultural Heritages by UNESCO, Ming Tombs shows impressive natural landscape and historical significance. Dingling was built in 1590. Emperor Shen Zong and the empress were buried there in 1620. Now, Dingling Tomb is the hottest among the thirteen for it is the only Ming imperial tomb excavated so far. Stroll around the area with your tour guide, admire the antiques in the the museums and discover the secrets of the Underground Palace.
