Meet your private guide in hotel’s lobby at 8:30am in Beijing. You can discuss with your tour guide on where you want to visit first, if you choose to visit the Temple of Heaven in the morning, you will be able to watch the morning exercise and fun life in the Temple of heaven Park about locals.
Your exploration begins with a visit to the stunning Temple of Heaven visited by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven. Watching local people doing morning exercises and you are welcome to join! The Temple of Heaven is one of several worship sites in the capital where the emperors offered sacrifices. The Temple of Heaven was constructed between 1406 and 1420 during the reign of Ming Emperor YongLe (reign: 1403-1424), who also oversaw the creation of the Forbidden City during the same period.
On the way to The Mutianyu Great Wall, if time allows, you are able to stop to take photos at the iconic “Bird’s Nest”– the Beijing National Stadium, where hosts many spectacular events of the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Enjoy your delicious lunch at an authentic restaurant on the way to the Great Wall.
Once arrive at the The Mutianyu Great Wall, you’ll enjoy a less hurried experience and take time to marvel at this wondrous structure and the surrounding hillsides. Take the cable car up and down, spend about 2 hours at the various sections of the Wall with your knowledgable tour guide, who will explain the related histories and stories along the way, accompany you to explore the watch and beacon towers.
After eight hours exploring tour, you will be taken back to your accommodation in Beijing.
