After a delicious lunch in the local restaurant, you will explore the White Horse Temple in the afternoon.
The White Horse Temple, patronized in 68 CE by Emperor Ming in the Eastern Han Dynasty’s capital, is the first Buddhist temple to be built in China. Explore the halls and pavilions with your guide, hearing stories about the Buddhism history and culture.
Your next stop is the Luoyang National Peony Garden. Peony cultivation in Luoyang, which now boasts its own unique brand of charm and culture. As the largest the peony garden in China, Luoyang National Peony Garden stands out from other gardens for the various sorts, long florescence and more gorgeous flowers. China National Flower Garden cultivates about 500,000 peonies in 9 colors as well as a further 2,000,000 plants of 1,000 different species. Among them, a huge peony called “Flower Goddess” with an age of100 years and a height of 2 meters (7 feet) gains public attention.
