ZHANGYE DANXIA LANDFORM DAY TOURS
This tour is designed for the first-time visitor to Zhangye, who wants to see most highlights of the Zhangye Danxia Landform in a time-saving manner.
Day 1 – Zhangye Danxia Landform
In the morning, the local guide will pick you up from the hotel or railway station in Zhangye city. An comfortable car with air-conditioned will transfer you to the Zhangye Danxia Geopark in Linze County.
The Rainbow Mountains of China within the Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park are a geological wonder of the world. The mountains are full of unbelievable colours, changing tone depending on the height of the sun; extraordinary is the sunset!
There are five viewing platforms for you to watch and shoot. You will visit one by one, and will be transferred by park buses from one deck to another. After the day tour, you will be driven to the downtown of Zhangye.
Useful Tips: 1) Pack with sun creams, sun glasses, protective clothing and hat to protect from strong sunlight in summer; 2) sunset is the best time for taking photos which happen around 19:00~20:30 in summer and 17:00~18:00 in winter.
