Ticket inspection:

Visitors who have reserved the morning timeslot must have their tickets checked no later than 12:30 on the day of entry.

Visitors who have reserved the afternoon timeslot can have their tickets checked no earlier than 12:30 on the day of entry.

Please ensure you arrive at the Mutianyu Great Wall at your reserved timeslot to guarantee your ticket is inspected and ensure a pleasant tour.

Change & Cancellation

How to get to Mutianyu Great Wall Beijing

Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area Main Entrance (Visitor Center / Shuttle Bus Platform)

By Public Transportation:
Subway Line 2 / Line 13 → Dongzhimen Station, Exit B → Dongzhimen Public Transport Hub → Take Express Bus No. 916 → Huairou North Street Stop → Transfer to Bus H23 / H24 / H35 / H36 → Mutianyu Roundabout → Walk 10 minutes to the main entrance of the scenic area.

Please show your Mutianyu Great Wall ticket QR code or valid ID for admission to the scenic area.

By Taxi:

Please tell the taxi driver to take you to the Mutianyu Great Wall Visitor Center.

You can buy tickets for Mutianyu Great Wall on site.
After arriving at the scenic area, scan the official QR code at the Ticket Center or entrance to purchase same-day tickets online.

Tickets may sell out easily during peak seasons / holidays, and you will need to queue.

Is there any place in Mutianyu Great Wall to deposit luggage?

Free luggage storage is available at the Mutianyu Great Wall:

(1) Visitor Center (next to the main entrance): the largest and safest storage area. Large suitcases and backpacks are accepted. It is under surveillance and completely free of charge.

(2) Entrance / Shuttle Bus Platform: lockers or service counters are available at the Main Entrance, East Entrance and West Entrance, free of charge.

(3) Cableway / Chairlift Lower Stations: small storage areas are available at some stations.
