The tickets are released 6 days in advance; we will book the tickets for you as soon as they are available.

Your valid Passport/ID information is required for booking, and one person can only book one ticket per day.

How to Book and Use

Please present your Passport/ID or QR code to verify the booking and enter from the South Gate of Temple of Heaven.

Ticket inspection:

Visitors who have reserved the morning timeslot must have their tickets checked no later than 12:00 on the day of entry.

Visitors who have reserved the afternoon timeslot can have their tickets checked no earlier than 12:00 on the day of entry.

Please ensure you arrive at the Temple of Heaven at your reserved timeslot to guarantee your ticket is inspected and ensure a pleasant tour.

Change & Cancellation

1.Free cancellation is available if requested by email 24 hours before the scheduled entry date.

2.Service fees are non‑refundable once tickets are issued.

How to get to Temple of Heaven Beijing

The Temple of Heaven has four main gates: East Gate, West Gate, South Gate and North Gate. All are open for entry. The East Gate is recommended.

By subway: 

East Gate (Recommended): Take Subway Line 5 to Temple of Heaven East Gate Station, Exit A2. Walk for 3–5 minutes.

West Gate: Take Subway Line 8 to Tianqiao Station, Exit C. Walk for about 5 minutes.

South Gate: Take Subway Line 14 to Jingtai Station, Exit B. Walk for about 15 minutes.

North Gate: Take Subway Line 7 to Qiaowan Station, Exit C. Walk for about 10 minutes.

By Bus:

East Gate: Fahuasi Station (Lines 6, 34, 35, 36, 39, 41, 43, 60, 72, 116, 128, 599, 684) Tiantan Tiyuchang Station (Lines 54, 957, 958)

South Gate: Tiantan South Gate Station (Lines 36, 53, 122, 525, 958, Te 11, Te 12 Inner Loop)

West Gate: Tiantan West Gate Station (Lines 2, 20, 36, 53, 71, 72, 90, 93, 120, 622, BRT 1)

North Gate: Tiantan North Gate Station (Lines 6, 34, 35, 36, 72, 106, 110, Night Bus 11)

By Taxi:

Please tell the taxi driver to take you to the East Gate of the Temple of Heaven, then enter directly from the East Gate.

How to buy tickets to the Temple of Heaven Beijing?

1.Highly recommended to use a ticket agency to help with the booking, which saves time and avoids troubles.

2.Tickets can be purchased up to 7 days in advance; online booking is strongly recommended. On-site ticket purchase is available but not advised due to long queues.


Do I need to book a ticket to Temple of Heaven in advance?

Yes, you had better book Temple of Heaven tickets online in advance. Tickets start to sell 7 days before the travel date. Book as early as possible, especially during peak seasons and holidays.


Can I buy a ticket on the spot upon arrival?

On-site ticket purchase is available, but long queues are common. All visitors are strongly advised to book online at least 1 day in advance to guarantee entry.


Is there any place in Temple of Heaven to deposit  luggage?

There are luggage storage services near the East Gate and West Gate of the Temple of Heaven. You may store your luggage there before entering the park and collect it after your visit.
