    Every moment of this adventure is designed to let you connect deeply with Zhangjiajie’s unique scenery, making it an unforgettable journey into nature’s wonders.

    Itinerary Quick Look

    Day 1: Yuanjiajie & Tianzi Mountain Exploration

    Kick off your journey by meeting your tour guide at your hotel lobby, train station, or airport, before heading to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
    Your first stop is Yuanjiajie—one of the park’s most sought-after spots and the real-life inspiration behind the Avatar movie’s Hallelujah Mountain. Upon arrival, start with a thrilling ride on the glass Bailong Elevator. As the world’s tallest and fastest sightseeing elevator, it whisks you to the mountain top in just 88 seconds, offering sweeping views of the sandstone peak forest along the way. Spend the next 2 hours exploring iconic landmarks: the Pillar of the Southern Sky, the Platform of Forgetfulness, and the legendary “Bridge Under Heaven.”
    Lunch is available at the attraction (at your own expense). Afterward, take the Tianzi Mountain Cable Car down—gliding past clusters of rocky hills outside your glass window—then board a sightseeing bus to exit Wulingyuan Park.
    The day’s adventure continues at Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, where you’ll tackle the transparent Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge. Walking on it gives you the surreal feeling of “flying above the ground,” with nothing visible beneath your feet. This bridge holds the title of the world’s longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge to date.
    Finally, meet your driver for a transfer back to your hotel.

    Day 2: Tianmen Mountain, Cliff-Hanging Walkway & Tianmen Cave

    Start day two by meeting your guide at your hotel, then embark on a ride aboard the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car—the world’s longest cable car journey. The 28-minute trip treats you to panoramic views of Zhangjiajie City, the winding 99 Bends (a road with 99 sharp curves leading up the mountain), and stunning natural scenery.
    Tianmen Mountain, known as the “soul of Zhangjiajie,” is the area’s highest peak. Here, you’ll experience the cliff-hanging walkway: a 1.6-kilometer path built along the mountain’s summit edges, perched 1,400 meters above the ground. Take in the breathtaking mountain views and snap plenty of photos.
    Next, take an escalator from the peak down to Tianmen Cave—a rare natural wonder formed by geological compression and collapse. Measuring 131.5 meters high, 57 meters wide, and 60 meters deep, this giant mountain hole is truly remarkable.
    After visiting the cave, descend the extremely steep 999 steps. With a maximum incline of 45°, these steps are the traditional route from the mountain foot to Tianmen Cave, often used by visitors paying their respects. Finish by taking a cable car down the mountain.
    At the end of the tour, your guide and driver will either take you to catch your train/flight to your next destination or drop you off at your hotel, marking the end of your adventure.
