Stop 2: Huagangguanyu Park (Flower Harbor Park)

  End your West Lake cruise at Huagang Park Wharf. A clear stream flows from Huajia Hill into the lake, and the area where the fresh water meets the lake is filled with flowers. Stop 3: Lingyin Temple

  Next, head to Lingyin Temple & Feilai Peak. Here, you’ll see ancient tree roots rising above the ground, with their branches twisting and winding up the peak. Stop 4: Amanfayun

Lunch & Stop 5: Longjing Tea Fields

  For lunch, you have two choices:

  1. Dine at a local restaurant recommended by your guide.
  2. Visit a local tea farmer’s home to enjoy a meal of local specialties (e.g., chicken, West Lake carp, lotus root, bamboo shoots, and fresh vegetables)—note that this option is at your own expense.

Stop 6: Southern Song Imperial Street

  Your final stop is the Song Dynasty Imperial Street (now renamed Zhongshanlu Beiduan). Walk this 400-meter (1,310-foot) road with your guide—it leads to the imperial palace of the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 960–1127). If you’d like, stop at local snack bars for delicacies or browse shops selling antiques, embroidery, and silk.
