    Harbin, known as China’s “Ice Capital,” hosts the annual Harbin Ice and Snow World Festival—transforming the city into a magical ice wonderland. Talented artists carve everything from modern buildings to traditional palaces out of ice, and lasers and advanced lighting make these creations even more dazzling.
    This one-day tour combines the Ice and Snow Festival’s top attractions, a foodie adventure, and a historical city walk. You’ll taste iconic Harbin and Northeast Chinese dishes, get a glimpse of locals’ winter lives, see well-preserved Chinese Baroque architecture, and learn about Harbin’s rich history.
    The Harbin Ice Festival’s opening ceremony is set for January 5, 2025, but the ice and snow sculptures at Harbin Ice and Snow World open to the public on December 17, 2024, and stay on display until early March 2025.

    11:00 AM: Sun Island – Admire Spectacular Snow Sculptures

    As the birthplace of China’s snow sculpture art, Sun Island draws snow sculpture masters from around the world every year. Massive snow sculptures carry various themes, and you can enjoy snow-themed activities like snowmobiling and snow golf.

    12:00 PM: Foodie Tour – Savor the Flavors of Old Harbin

    The food tour starts on the old streets of Daowai District and ends at Zhongyang Pedestrian Street. Your guide will walk with you, stopping at 5 spots where you’ll try 6 types of traditional Harbin food and 3 popular local drinks.

    3:30 PM: Ice and Snow World – A Colorfully Lit Ice Fairyland

    You’ll experience both the daytime and nighttime views of the park—they’re completely different. Enter the park at 3:30 PM, before dusk falls around 4 PM. Admire the brightly lit, stunning ice sculptures, watch an indoor performance, ride an ice bike, have fun in the ice labyrinth, slide down the ice slide, and explore the ice castle.
