    Your journey begins at Huangshan International Hotel. Pickup services are also available—see departure details below.

    1. Assembly at Huangshan International Hotel (Stop Duration: 30 minutes | Time: 7:30–8:00 AM)

    Gather at Huangshan International Hotel. Its address is No. 31 Huangshan Road, Tunxi District, Huangshan City. Please arrange your own transportation to the hotel in advance. Your guide will wait for you in the hotel lobby. They are ready to answer pre-trip questions and share a brief overview of the day’s adventures.

    2. Transfer to Huangshan UNESCO Global Geopark (Stop Duration: 90 minutes | Time: 8:00–9:30 AM | Admission included)

    Led by your guide, take a comfortable car or van to Huangshan Scenic Area Transfer Center. The drive takes roughly 1 hour, passing rolling Anhui countryside dotted with tea plantations. Then, board a scenic shuttle bus to Yungu Cableway Station. The 30-minute ride lets you catch first glimpses of Huangshan’s mist-shrouded peaks in the distance.

    3. Yungu Temple & Cableway Ascent (Stop Duration: 10 minutes + Cableway Ride | Time: 9:30–9:50 AM | Admission excluded)

    Visit Yungu Temple, a quiet Buddhist sanctuary that has comforted travelers and monks for hundreds of years. It sits nestled at the foot of the mountain. Then head to the Yungu Cableway. The one-way cableway fee is approximately $12 per person, at your own expense. We highly recommend the cableway. It saves energy and time for the adventures ahead.
    This is one of Mt. Huangshan’s most scenic cable routes. The ride treats you to front-row views of many landmarks. Spot Tendu Peak, Lotus Peak, Buddha’s Palm Peak, Magpie Perching on Plum Blossom, Immortal Turning the Table, Gourd Stone, and Sheep Crossing the River. Glide through clouds and mist. You’ll feel like wandering in an earthly fairyland. Stunning scenery stretches as far as the eye can see.

    4. Explore White Goose Peak (Stop Duration: 30 minutes)

    Disembark at White Goose Ridge and head to White Goose Peak. It’s a vantage point famous for unobstructed views of the East Sea of Clouds. Stand atop the peak. Watch clouds swirl around the surrounding granite peaks. The dynamic, ever-changing landscape feels straight out of a classical Chinese painting.

    5. Shixin Peak (Begin to Believe Peak) (Stop Duration: 15 minutes)

    Explore Shixin Peak, located east of Flower-Scattering Valley in the Beihai Scenic Area. It’s named for the moment visitors “begin to believe” in Huangshan’s extraordinary beauty. This spot provides spectacular views of Huangshan’s jagged granite peaks. You’ll also see the majestic Black Tiger Pine. It’s one of Huangshan’s top 10 famous pines, estimated to be 700 years old. A legend says a meditating monk once spotted a black tiger crouching atop its branches before it vanished.

    6. Dreamed Pen of Fine Essays (Bi Sheng Hua) (Stop Duration: 15 minutes)

    Visit Bishenghua, one of Mt. Huangshan’s most iconic spots. It has inspired poets and painters for centuries with its whimsical natural formation. It features a uniquely shaped rock. The rock resembles the tip of a Chinese calligraphy brush. A hardy pine tree grows right on top. It’s a perfect blend of rock and vegetation that embodies Huangshan’s natural artistry.

    7. Explore Lion Peak (Stop Duration: 30 minutes)

    Wander Lion Peak, a summit named for its shape that resembles a crouching lion. It’s renowned for breathtaking sunrise views. Even in the daytime, the vistas are unforgettable. Here, you’ll also see the classic “Stone Monkey Gazing over the Sea of Clouds” scene. It’s a natural rock formation that looks just like a monkey sitting atop the peak. It stares out at the endless expanse of clouds below.

    8. Descend the Mountain & Return to Huangshan City

    First Stop (Descent) (Stop Duration: 30 minutes | Time: 2:30 PM | Location: Yungu Temple)

    Begin descending the mountain. You can choose to hike down via scenic trails. Soak in the last bits of Huangshan’s beauty. Or take the Yungu Cableway, with the fee at your own expense, for a quick and comfortable ride.

    Second Stop (Return Transfer) (Stop Duration: 60 minutes | Time: 4:00–5:00 PM)

    After reaching the foot of the mountain, board your vehicle. Transfer back to Huangshan City. Chat with your guide and fellow travelers. Share stories about the day’s highlights as the scenery rolls by.

    You’ll be brought back to the starting point—Huangshan International Hotel. Your unforgettable one-day mountain adventure ends on a high note. You’ll carry memories of Huangshan’s peaks, pines, and clouds to cherish.
