    Day 1: Arrival in Lhasa – Airport Greeting & Hotel Transfer

They’ll assist with your transfer to the pre-arranged hotel and help you complete the check-in process smoothly. Take the remainder of the day to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude (around 3,650 meters), ensuring you’re refreshed for the adventures ahead.

    Day 2: Lhasa City Highlights – Palaces, Temples & Old Town (B)

    After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, set off to explore the world’s highest palace – the iconic Potala Palace. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, perched atop Red Hill, boasts stunning architecture, priceless Buddhist relics, and panoramic views of Lhasa. Next, visit the spiritually revered Jokhang Temple, Tibet’s most sacred Buddhist site, where you’ll witness devout pilgrims performing prostrations and soaking in the serene atmosphere. To experience “authentic Lhasa,” wander through Barkhor Street, a bustling ancient pilgrimage circuit lined with local markets. Here, you can browse and purchase unique Tibetan, Nepalese, and Indian handicrafts, souvenirs, and traditional goods.

    Day 3: Lhasa’s Spiritual Heart – Sera & Drepung Monasteries (B)

    Today’s itinerary focuses on two of Tibetan Buddhism’s most influential monasteries. First, explore Sera Monastery, famous for its lively “Monk Debates” (typically held in the afternoon), where monks engage in rhythmic philosophical discussions. Then, visit Drepung Monastery – once the largest monastery in Tibet – and wander through its grand assembly halls, serene cloisters, and sacred chapels adorned with intricate thangkas and statues.     Day 4: Lhasa → Yamdrok Lake → Karola Glacier → Gyantse → Shigatse (B)

After exploring its grand courtyards and sacred halls, set off toward the world’s highest peak – Mount Everest. The drive from Shigatse via Lhatse and Tingri treats you to some of the planet’s most spectacular scenery: crystal-clear blue skies, drifting high-altitude clouds, endless grasslands, and towering Himalayan peaks. En route, stop at Rongphu Monastery, the world’s highest-altitude monastery, before continuing to Everest Base Camp. Spend the night at the base camp, where you’ll be perfectly positioned to witness the mountain’s majestic beauty.

    Day 6: Everest Base Camp → Gyirong Town

    Rise early to catch the awe-inspiring sunrise over Mount Everest, as the first light of day paints the peak in golden hues – a moment you’ll never forget. After soaking in the views, begin the drive back to National Highway 318, then continue onward to Gyirong Town, where you’ll rest for the night.

    Day 7: Gyirong Town → Gyirong Border → Kathmandu

    In the early morning, proceed to Gyirong Port to cross the border into Nepal. Our tour service concludes at the border – from here, you’ll continue your journey to Kathmandu, carrying cherished memories of Tibet’s breathtaking landscapes, profound spirituality, and rich culture.
