    Day 1: Guiyang → Anshun → Guiyang

    Your guide picks you up at your downtown Guiyang hotel. You’ll take a 3-hour drive to grand Huangguoshu Waterfall. Marvel at the stunning water cascade and natural grandeur here. Return to your Guiyang hotel at day’s end.
    • Scenic History: Huangguoshu Waterfall, formed by Baishui River cutting a large rift, is a time-honored natural wonder in Guizhou.

    Day 2: Guiyang → Kaili

    Today ,then take a 3-hour drive to Qingman Miao Village. It sits in Changlinggang Mountain Range, a natural mountain fortress. The village clings to the mountainside. Layered stilted houses with trapezoidal roofs and interlocking eaves look neat and breathtaking.
    Next, head to Shiqiao Town between Kaili and Danzhai. It’s the home of national intangible heritage Shiqiao Ancient Papermaking. It’s known as a “living museum of ancient papermaking”. The scenic area blends Miao customs, natural views, rural scenery and Cambrian fossils. Explore freely and then check in to your Kaili hotel.
    • Scenic History: Qingman Miao Village has long mountain-dwelling Miao history; Shiqiao papermaking inherits 2,000-year-old primitive Han Dynasty techniques.

    Day 3: Kaili Miao Villages Day Tour

    Morning: Jidao Miao Village

    Head to Jidao Miao Village in the morning. Walk on century-old paths to feel locals’ diligence. Visit time-honored granaries to admire their wisdom. Listen to ancient folk songs to embrace traditional culture.

    Mid-day: Langde Miao Village

    Move on to Langde Miao Village then. Wander along cobblestone streets slowly. Enjoy the relaxed, peaceful village life.

    Afternoon: Paika Miao Village

    Drive south to Paika Miao Village later. It’s famous for Miao women’s exquisite costumes. Gorgeous dresses have vivid totems like dragon, phoenix, flowers, birds and cows. They are living carriers of Miao totemic culture. Local women keep complete ancient textile techniques. Skills pass down for generations from cotton picking to sewing. It’s called “ceremonial folk textile art”. Return to your Kaili hotel after the tour.
    • Scenic History: Jidao, Langde and Paika are ancient Miao settlements. They keep pure Miao customs and traditional crafts for hundreds of years.
