    Day 1: Arrival in Lhasa – Airport Greeting & Transfer

    Touch down at Lhasa Gonggar Airport. Your dedicated guide will greet you and assist with transfer to your accommodation. They’ll help you check in smoothly. Rest for the rest of the day to acclimatize to 3,650m high altitude. Prep your body for the adventures ahead.

    Day 2: Lhasa City Highlights – Palaces, Temples & Old Town

    Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your accommodation. Head out to explore Potala Palace, the world’s highest palace and a UNESCO site on Red Hill with stunning architecture and priceless Buddhist relics. Visit Jokhang Temple, Tibet’s most sacred Buddhist site, and watch devout pilgrims perform prostrations in the serene atmosphere. Wander Barkhor Street, a bustling ancient pilgrimage circuit and local market. Browse Tibetan, Nepalese and Indian handicrafts, souvenirs and traditional goods here.

    Day 3: Lhasa’s Spiritual Heart – Sera & Drepung Monasteries

    Explore two of Tibetan Buddhism’s most influential monasteries today. Start with Sera Monastery, famous for its lively afternoon Monk Debates with rhythmic philosophical discussions. Visit Drepung Monastery, once Tibet’s largest, with grand assembly halls and sacred chapels adorned with intricate thangkas and statues. Your guide shares fascinating insights into the monasteries’ history, teachings and monastic life.

    Day 4: Lhasa → Yamdrok Lake → Karola Glacier → Gyantse → Shigatse

    Embark on a scenic drive to Kampala Pass (4,797m). Enjoy sweeping views of holy Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet’s three sacred lakes, and snow-capped Mount Nyenchen Khangsar. Capture the lake’s turquoise waters with your camera. Head to Karola Glacier for an up-close view of the stunning ice formation. Drive along the southern Friendship Highway to Gyantse. Visit Gyantse Kumbum, a 108-Cell Stupa with thousands of Buddha statues and ancient murals. Travel to Shigatse, Tibet’s second-largest city, in the late afternoon.

    Day 5: Shigatse → Tingri → Rongphu Monastery → Everest Base Camp

    Start the day with a visit to Tashilunpo Monastery, the Panchen Lama’s official residence and a key Tibetan religious site. Explore its grand courtyards and sacred halls. Set off for Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak, via Lhatse and Tingri. Enjoy spectacular scenery: clear blue skies, drifting clouds, endless grasslands and towering Himalayan peaks. Stop at Rongphu Monastery, the world’s highest-altitude monastery, en route. Continue to Everest Base Camp and settle in for the night with front-row peak views.

    Day 6: Everest Base Camp → Gyirong Town

    Rise early to witness the awe-inspiring Mount Everest sunrise. Watch the golden light paint the world’s highest peak in stunning hues. Soak in this once-in-a-lifetime moment and capture the views. Begin the drive back to National Highway 318. Continue onward to Gyirong Town and rest for the night at your accommodation.

    Day 7: Gyirong Town → Gyirong Border → Kathmandu

    Head to Gyirong Port in the early morning to cross the border into Nepal. Our tour service officially concludes at the Gyirong border. Take cherished memories of Tibet’s breathtaking landscapes and profound culture with you to Kathmandu.
