Despite the hundreds of buses that visit daily, the Great Wall at Mutianyu is not as crowded as the nearby Badaling or Juyongguan sections of the Wall. Mutianyu’s 2.5 kilometer stretch of the Wall allows you to walk for more than an hour as you explore 23 watchtowers and the valley on both sides of the Wall.

From the Beijing international airport to The Mutianyu Great Wall, is 1.5 hours .on the way to Mutianyu you will enjoy the quiet countryside view of Beijing.
Once arrive at the The Mutianyu Great Wall,you’ll take time to marvel at this wondrous structure and the surrounding hillsides that look north toward Mongolia.The Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings – dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. Built mainly from granite, the pass at Mutianyu is an appropriately unique section of the Great Wall. 7 to 8 meters high, and 4 to 5 meters high with crenellations on both sides of the Wall, the section of the Wall at Mutianyu stretches for over 2 kilometers.
Mutianyu is a bit more rugged and slightly less crowded than the more famous Badaling. Over 96% of Mutianyu is covered by trees and orchards, keeping the air fragrant with chestnut blossoms in the spring and fresh all year long.

Our driver will wait 2 hours at the main hall holding your name sign,if tourists didn’t show up 2 hours after the flight arrival time, our driver will left, the tour will be cancelled,if you have any problem please call us in advance.

We only have English speaking drivers for the cars and 7 seats vans,so more than 7 pessengers,we only offer Chinese Speaking Driver.
If you are going to visit Beijing during your short layover, you are kindly reminded that you should give yourself a reasonable amount of time to exit the airport and go through customs, which usually take you more than an hour. You also figure out the enough time to return to the airport and go through security again. You still get back 2-3 hours prior to the departing flight. You will need a visa if you plan to leave the airport

If flight lands before 2:30 pm, the visit to the Great Wall will be secured. Otherwise, you can’t make it because the Great Wall at Mutianyu open between 7am to 18:30
